Greetings Fellows,
I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to our newest Filene Research Fellow: Robert Manning, PhD, Professor at the Rochester
Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, New York.
Professor Manning is Research Professor of Consumer Financial Services
and Director of the Center for Consumer Financial Services at RIT. He is a prolific researcher in the fields of deregulation of retail banking, consumer finance, comparative economic development, immigration, and globalization. Manning is also the author of numerous books, a frequent
media source on consumer finance issues and a movie/TV star (you'll have
to ask him about this).
